A round neck phiran-style kurta, featuring contrasting thread work at the neck and in-seam pockets on the side. Patchwork recycled hand-block printed Bagru silk textile are used to create patterns inspired by the Jaali of ‘Rushaans’ (latticework windows characteristic of traditional Islamic architecture), with hand embroidery consisting of beads & sequins and zardozi embroidery. The back yoke is a mix of Bagru print silk and silk velvet with Zari detailing.
The kurta also has detailing of Zari at the princess seam. Finished with Bagru stripes print facing.
Best paired with Rushaan Ijar and/or Rushaan Stole.
