Sunira’s most awaited velvets return this season under the name Suroor — a celebration of Delhi’s soulful legacy, where devotion meets design.

This year’s velvets come alive through two distinct expressions, crafted for every age and occasion — from everyday wear to timeless festive elegance.

For occasion wear, Suroor draws from the opulence of Parsi Gara embroidery, reimagined through intricate antique dabka handwork in rich jewel tones of velvets

Plush velvets feature subtle Ajrakh-inspired prints, where roses and birds take center stage in embroidery motifs, evoking the romance of heritage craft. The silhouettes flow in comfortable phirans, salwars, and layered jackets, complemented by waistcoats, doshalas, and stylish draped skirts that allow effortless styling across moods and moments.

The second line, a first for Sunira, explores the beauty of Bagru hand block printing on velvets — using vegetable dyes and ikat-inspired motifs translated into contemporary patterns. Designed for everyday and work wear, this edit moves seamlessly from work to evening, through comfortable kurtas, shirts, blazers, and layered separates that carry quiet luxury in every thread.

In essence, Suroor is an ode to the enduring spirit of Delhi winters - where music, craft, and culture merge in a lingering rhythm of beauty.

After Dhun, where two musicians carried the sound of Kutch to Delhi, we became aware of the many others who could not. With GOONJ, we journeyed into the hamlets of the Kutch heartland  — where sound is inseparable from soil, and where craft and culture still survive in fragile harmony.

Rooted in this heritage, GOONJ draws on Ajrakh block prints, festive silk brocades, and embroidered motifs that echo the region’s cultural vocabulary. Just as the sounds of the jodiya pava, surrando, morchang, or dhak fade, so too do these crafts — kept alive by artisans who weave, stitch, and print as both livelihood and legacy.

For the festive season, GOONJ presents silhouettes that move effortlessly from celebration to wedding — anarkalis, phiran kurtas, overlays, sarees, trousers, blazers, and dupattas layered in Ajrakh-inspired silks, brocades, and embroidery, designed with both comfort and luxury in mind.
